Description
UPC-25T-4 is an aluminum flexible air duct 2" inside diameter and 3.5" outside diameter insulated to R3.3 with 1 vapor barrier.
They come in a box quantity of 4 x 25' lengths with our Twist-Fit connector on each end.
The aluminum supply tubing and sound attenuator are insulated flexible air ducts. It comes in two sizes and four different insulation thicknesses.
The outer jacket for all is made of a two-ply reinforced reflective mylar; providing a vapor seal to prevent leakage and moisture migration and increasing the insulation factor by reducing the radiant heat transfer. A fiberglass blanket insulation then fills the void between the jacket and the core.
If the duct is located inside the conditioned building envelope, use the standard insulation which is designed to prevent condensation due to the cold air during cooling. For locations outside the conditioned envelope use a higher R-factor appropriate to meet the local codes.
The aluminum supply tubing is supplied in a 25-foot Length. Tubing can be cut to length as needed.
